The Flavor of Italy: Eat Paint Love IT!

Anyone who knows me knows that I am passionate about Italy. I love Italy and I'm not alone! As one of the most popular travel destinations in the world, there’s this desire for visitors to “be Italian” if only for a few days. After all, when you think of Italy, what do you think of?  Food…wine…art…history and so much more!

Who doesn’t want to holiday in Italy? And who doesn’t dream of learning how to prepare the perfect pasta dish or paint in the Tuscan countryside? Or maybe exploring medieval hill towns or sitting in a piazza sipping wine with new friends?

You want to go but with so many choices, planning can be confusing and overwhelming. Whether you’re a solo traveler, an inexperienced or seasoned traveler, or just find the idea of independent travel abroad intimidating, there is a solution. Why not choose a tour? Yes, a tour! A tour is a great travel choice and I’ll tell you why.

I share Reasons You Should Consider a Tour on my blog, but in a nutshell, a tour is the ideal travel solution for:

  • Traveling solo:  Anxieties of being solo addressed.
  • Inexperienced travelers: You can rely on the knowledge and guidance of experts.
  • Seasoned travelers: You want a more intimate, in-depth experience. Again, a tour is perfect.
  • Planning and logistics: The tour experts take care of all of the details – you can just relax and enjoy your vacation.
  • Your budget: Since you know most of your costs beforehand you don’t have to dread coming home to the shock of a  huge credit card bill.
  • Making new friends: It may not be why you travel, but it’s enriching and fun to make new friends in a congenial setting.
So, it’s only logical that a tour to Italy is a perfect choice! Your excuses for not going vanish! And when you choose a reputable, boutique tour company such as Flavours Holidays, you get something else that most visitors never enjoy - you get an authentic and incomparable firsthand experience.

Just imagine, you can cook, paint, dine, and share “Italian style” under the guidance of Flavours’ experienced and dedicated tour leaders. Since they’ve done the hard part  for you – the research, the legwork, the logistics – you and your fellow enthusiasts can just show up and enjoy la dolce vita and “being Italian” for a little while.

With Flavours, which attracts an international clientele, there’s an added plus of meeting and being in the company of like-minded travelers from all over the world. So, you are not only enriched by the Italian experience, but by the new
friendships formed by enjoying it together.

As an experienced traveler and having traveled to Italy, both independently and with boutique tours, I have to say there’s just no comparison. Don’t get me wrong.  I love doing lots of research and planning but I love the ease of not having to agonize over logistics and really feeling like I’m on vacation.  Furthermore, being welcomed by locals and the wonderful group camaraderie that I would have never found on my own adds a richness and uniqueness that is nothing short of fantastico.

Now, isn’t that the best of all worlds?
